SUMMARY
Reporting to the Operations Manager and working with the Engineering manager, production supervisor and hourly associates, the primary purpose of the role is quality control support of production activities. This includes implementing the latest technology advancements, improving the staff technical levels, process capabilities of existing and new products and processes, identifying weaknesses in tooling, equipment and processes and assisting in developing corrective actions and/or improvements. Also, assists in continuous development of and oversees the daily implementation of the ISO9000 quality system and procedures in place at CDH Custom Roll Form. Provides leadership, oversight and training of quality control processes, data collection, continuous improvement and developing, meeting or exceeding quality goals in the production environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Conducts regular inspections and audits of materials, processes, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and regulations.
* Promotes a safe working environment that yields high quality products.
* Leads implementation, procedures, and training of processes related to measurement systems including Creaform Metrascan Black, Optical Comparator, and inspection tooling and gages.
* Works with different departments of the organization to identify and determine areas of continuous improvement and documentation thereof.
* Facilitates brainstorming and ideation activities and distilling credible ideas that could solve real world problems and improve quality.
* Supports resolution of quality related concerns from both internal and external customers.
* Drives the CDH quality culture including related skills development and training for quality processes and procedures.
* Ensures production quality processes, procedures and documentation meet the needs of internal and external customers and are consistently utilized on the production shop floor.
* Maintains data collection and analysis.
* Responsible for managing, automating, and maintaining efficient data collection as related to quality inspection of products produced at CDH.
* Provide SPC reporting to all stakeholders in regular intervals.
* Collaborates with colleagues to identify and resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
* Supports PPAP processes for new products and annual validations.
* Assists in continuous improvement of products and processes related to safety, reliability, and repeatability.
* Supports auditing, compliance, improvement, and training of the ISO 9000 QMS in place at CDH.
* Maintains calibration system of inspection devices.
* Maintains and improves, as needed, quality inspection documentation.
